No other fees ever! Let's consider an average real estate commission of $8,500 for the sale of a single-family home. The median commission split of an average agent in the Central MA area would be an 80/20 split along with a mandatory 6% royalty (technology) fee. This agent would net the following amount: $8500 X .74= $6290 the typical share of an average agent (others might have a higher split) at other brokerages.
